Online muziektijdschrift LIVEXS noemt "Just One" van The Tralala's een "intrigerende en bij vlagen erg goede CD".
De GROLSCH GROTE PRIJS VAN NEDERLAND jury liet soloproject The Tralala's (waarbij ze dachten met een band van doen te hebben) na beluistering van "Let It Flow!" ongezien deelnemen aan hun halve finale in EKKO Utrecht 2006. Uit het juryrapport: "Band trekt meteen de aandacht. Goede songs, erg sferisch. Blijft eigenlijk meteen al wat hangen, maakt indruk in elk geval". "Beetje NICK CAVE & BAD SEEDS in nette tijden, maar toch eigen". "Zanger heeft iets meeslepends en intrigerends als ie zingt zoals ook STUART van TINDERSTICKS zo mooi kan". "Prima teksten voor deze muziek". "Zijn eigenlijk lange songs met een fijne flow, met prettige verrassend blije stukken soms".
VPRO's 3VOOR12 roemt "Let It Flow!" en is blij eindelijk eens een band te beluisteren waar de originaliteit vanaf spat: "Met hun eigenwijsheid en enthousiasme zijn The Tralala's absoluut een band om in de gaten te houden".
SMOTHER MAGAZINE USA: "Bass parts groove with nice low end. Spacey guitars swirl about with some RADIOHEAD influences".
Foozack's EP "Paranoia Paradise" wordt door online magazine FRET uitgeroepen tot "Demo van de Maand". Opnieuw waardering o.a voor de eigenzinnigheid van de bandcomposities: "het klinkt als een overweldigende geluidsstorm met een eigen verhaaL".
Online magazine WRITTEN IN MUSIC: "Dit vijftal serveert een kleurrijk brouwsel waarin stevige, psychedelische rock wordt afgewisseld met dwarse en eigenzinnige passages. Mega begaafd & creatief componerend Amerikaans bassiste JULIE SLICK voelt zich na beluistering "gevleid" dat ik haar instrumentale muziek (uitgevoerd door haarzelf, Robert Fripp, Pat Mastelotto & Marco Minnemann) van tekst en zanglijnen voorzie. JULIE SLICK nam muziek op en speelde samen met o.a. Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Stewart Copeland (The Police), Jon Anderson (Yes), Alice Cooper en Adrian Belew (gitarist in o.a. de band van David Bowie, King Crimson, Talking Heads & Frank Zappa).
Wereldberoemd engineer & muziekindustrie veteraan TOM PEARCE die werkte met o.a. Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Beach Boys & Pete Townsend beschrijft The Moon In June met de woorden: "This is very beautiful music". Een quote opgetekend tijdens zijn jurering van het project bij wederom deelname aan de GROLSCH GROTE PRIJS VAN NEDERLAND.

VISUALS REVIEWS
Het beeld en de beweging van de visuals interacteert met het geluid van de songs om zo een meerlaagse ervaring te genereren. Het zijn montages van op het internet gezocht basis videomateriaal dat werd gearrangeerd en bewerkt wat kleur, vorm, contrast en snelheid betreft. De interactie tussen het beeld van de visual en het geluid van de song is soms direct, soms associatief van aard. De beweging is soms eenduidig, soms gelaagd waardoor meer diversiteit in richting en diepte ontstaat. Beeld en geluid willen vervloeien of juist contrasteren...
JAAP DRUPSTEEN, internationaal vermaard grafisch vormgever en No.1 videokunstenaar, nodigt me uit met de visuals van Foozack deel te nemen aan het openingsevenement in ATAK Enschede in het kader van zijn solo expositie "The Rhythm Painter".

The GROLSCH GROTE PRIJS VAN NEDERLAND jury allowed The Tralala’s (initially thought to be a full band) to participate unseen in their semi-finals at EKKO Utrecht after hearing "Let It Flow!". From the jury report: "The band immediately grabs your attention. Strong songs, very atmospheric. It sticks with you right away—definitely makes an impression." Pablo Cabenda (de Volkskrant) wrote about the (A.O. FIFA) football songs for the 2026 World Cup. I let him know I missed a review of my songs ;-) He replied: "I didn’t know them, but I think they’re funny. They would have deserved a mention. We’ll do it for the next World Cup. Cheers, Pablo.'"
VISUALS REVIEWS
The imagery and movement of the visuals interact with the sound of the songs to create a multi-layered experience. These are montages of base video material sourced from the internet, arranged and edited in terms of color, shape, contrast, and speed. The interaction between the visuals and the music is sometimes direct, sometimes associative. The movement can be straightforward or layered, creating greater diversity in direction and depth. The visuals and sound aim to either blend seamlessly or deliberately contrast...
JAAP DRUPSTEEN, internationally acclaimed graphic designer and No. 1 video artist, invited me to participate with Foozack’s visuals in the opening event at ATAK Enschede as part of his solo exhibition "The Rhythm Painter."
